Music discovery is a life long passion. With my music tastes constantly evolving I find it fascinating to go back to the song that were once my obsession. Though I don't recall when I began, I now have a tradition of making a playlist on my birthday with the songs that played the soundtrack of that year. Then I can always revisit the past years to see what kind of music I was into. My recent birthday meant it was time to pull this playlist together. Grabbing a handful of songs that I discovered between now and last years playlist, I whittled down a playlist of 25 songs. The order in the playlist starts with most recent discoveries and moves backwards to songs found nearly a year ago.
