Every year for my birthday, I compile all of the music I've been really into that year. I try to veer towards the things that were discoveries, but mostly I just comb through the most played songs since last year. I'm 26 this years, which means I have 26 songs. Some have stories of discovery, but all of them I legitimately enjoy (yes, even the Russian folk song.) One day I'd like to gather all the older ones together to share how my music tastes have (and haven't) changed, but every time I try, I get too caught up in reminiscing. Enjoy!

Very impressive list; I don’t recognize hardly any except the Jim Croce. And ever since the Lizard Wizard put out that solo album, I can’t stand the thought of King Gizzard touring without LW. But whaddya gonna do?
