The accordion table was designed and constructed as part of a furniture design studio. It consists of 90 precisely made, pieces of white oak. The pieces formed two independent boxes which wove together to create a single table. The two boxes were able to slide together and apart altering the length of the table. The resulting piece is a coffee table that is adaptable to a variety of spaces.
